A candle!
Twinkling in the darkest night,
Stands the burning cold,
Enlightens
Boosts the warmth of being
Defying the darkening night
A night,
Has marshaled its forces,
Against the tiniest remaining light
***
The night,
Still can’t hide,
Its fear and fright of
a candle light
It is a threat to
The deepest
The darkest corners
of the suffocating night
***
A dark night,
Captivated by its darkest side
By mustiest smokes,
Gloomiest clouds:
Misogyny,
Xenophobia,
Bigotry,
All the seeds that Lucifer
Planted with might
To paint
All the gardens,
The walls
Followers,
Waterfalls,
The light
Mountains,
The pages of a children’s book
Playgrounds
Little white Bonnies
The rainbow
Even the snow
With a fake gold paint
A thinly veiled tar
Yet,
The little candle is burning
Its rays of light
As undying hopes,
Is eternal
Like water
Gives birth to the green
Makes the trees blossom
Like grass,
Rips up the dirt,
Like a woman
Sustains birth,
Delivers to a new world
Ensures rebirth
Only
She can recreate the life
